5 STARS! Absolutely loved Alex and Abigail’s story. Captivating and emotional throughout. I just couldn’t put it down, reading late into the early morning hours. Definitely one of those that stays with you, and I’m thrilled to recommend. I started with this third book in the series, so now looking forward to reading books 1 and 2.
Another winner. Thoroughly loved the story of Alex and Abigail. Overcoming their loss to find love. Looking forward to the next book. Hope Ms Anders is planning a story for Penelope, she definitely deserves her own story
Anders has an amazing writing ability. The characters, plot, mood, and historical background were all perfect!Her characters’ dialogue is filled with beauty, humor, wisdom and humanity. I just loved the evolution of Alex and Abigail. Their stories were so poignant and beautiful!This book has everything: love, romance, some sadness, and a highly enjoyable plot. No silly misunderstandings here.I just loved it, and it is one of my new favorites! I didn’t want it to end!
Annabelle Anders continues to write compelling stories in which both our heroes and heroines have flaws. Yes, there is the expected happily ever after, but you can be assured the characters face challenges and grow as humans as the story progresses. Alex and Abigail both faced unspeakable loss, dealing with it in polar opposite fashion. In finding each other, they both find a way to live again.
It took me no time to love these two main characters. Took longer to love the Duke of Ice, but I finally understood him. Good storyline. Just bought it & am rereading it. Thank you, Annabelle Anders. You are now also one of my favorite authors.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💋💋To me this is the Best that Annabelle has written .There is something about the energy surrounding this book that fills me with a feeling of contentment, it must be such a joy to be able to write to this level.I have a very soft spot for this story . It’s one I was asked to read a while back ,but way before it was finished.This book is very special and so is the author, it grabbed me and I filled with so much emotion whilst reading it .The characters have so many personal challenges to overcome. All their problems have shaped them in some way , for good and bad .Sometimes with the support of family ,sometimes without it , but both need to except their lives and their pasts and move on .However now she’s ruined and he’s her only hope , The Duke and Abigail’s adventures are beginning , don’t miss it .Annabelle is such a stunning writer, her stories have a depth to them that is wonderful.This makes her book so much more emotional and her characters more endearing, That is the main reason I read for her.She never writes a bad one , but this is exceptional .I received an advance copy of this book and chose to submit a review
This is one of the best books Annabelle as written to date! Lady Saves the Duke by Annabelle Anders is book 3 in the Lord Love a Lady series. You will laugh and cry as this is a very emotional book but can’t be put down. Annabelle has an amazing talent for her regency descriptions and characters that even when you have a duke that is referred to as the Duke of Ice you can’t help but fall in love with them. This story has cruelty, kindness, loving sisters, an unforgiving mother, peer pressure, a joy for the holidays, a scandal, deceit, guilt, a broken betrothal and love at first sight. This book has it all and than some! I highly recommend this book or any of Annabelle Anders book as you won’t be disappointed.***This book was gifted to me and I am voluntarily reviewing.Comment
